Overview

Examination, X-Rays & 3D Diagnostics

An accurate treatment plan starts with diagnostics: the dentist assesses the condition of your teeth and gums, while X-rays and a CT scan reveal what's invisible to the eye — the state of the roots, bone tissue, and hidden areas of inflammation.

Examination & Consultation

The dentist reviews your concerns, examines your mouth, explains the findings, and suggests next steps.

Targeted & Panoramic X-Rays

Fast 2D imaging to assess a single tooth or the entire dental arch.

CT Scan & Digital Scanning

3D diagnostics before implant placement, complex extractions, or orthodontic treatment.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions About Diagnostics

Do I need an X-ray before every treatment?

Not always — a simple consultation is sometimes enough, but for root canal treatment, implants, or complex cases, an X-ray or CT scan is essential for an accurate treatment plan.

What is a CT scan and when is it needed?

A CT scan produces a 3D image of the jaw — it's needed before implant placement, complex extractions, and to assess bone volume.

How long does the initial consultation take?

Usually 20–30 minutes: an examination, a discussion of your concerns, and, if needed, a referral for X-rays and a preliminary treatment plan.

Is diagnostics included in the cost of treatment?

Diagnostics is billed separately, but the required X-rays and consultation are factored into your overall treatment plan and estimate.
